RiverDancing

Riverdance premiered in the USA on the week of St Patrick's Day, 1996, at Radio City Music Hall, New York.

It has just finished its latest successful US Tour, and has had some unforeseen effects here in Chicago.

When Riverdance came here, I naturally went to see it, and I talked to everyone I know about it. Lots of people were curious, so I loaned them the Video. That was two months ago, and I'm still trying to get it back.

The two-tear-old grandson of one of my co-workers now refuses to watch anything else on TV, stamps his feet a lot, and has taken to walking around the house in Mom's high heels, because they make a more satisfying Click.

Another of my co-workers sings with the local church choir. She passed on my Video to the Choral Director, who is now trying to figure out how to smuggle a set of Uileann Pipes into the church choir.

This evening, the local PBS Channel held its annual fund-raiser. Instead of showing the scheduled Three Tenors concert, they ran a repeat of Riverdance, which they premiered last night.

I wonder who passed my Video on to them.
